Drifting through the forest, attuned to the whispers of the earth. Shapes emerge, captured and
transmuted—scanned, printed, milled, and reassembled. A portal takes form, aligned with the
elusive and shifting materiality of a possible future.
A hybrid portal structure enters into dialogue with a digital image plane, emerging from the systematic transformation of organic forms collected and documented during a forest walk. The installation examines the complex relationship between material presence and technological intervention.
In an era where the boundaries between nature and culture increasingly blur, this work explores nature’s active role in shaping our future. The concept understands nature not as a passive backdrop to human action, but as an autonomous agent. At its core stands a portal – a threshold space between material and digital dimensions. The digital plane develops its own agency, transforming the portal into the protagonist of a post-apocalyptic vision where the boundaries between artificial structures and organic growth dissolve.
