For the sixth time, the Department of Cultural Affairs is awarding funding for media art projects in public spaces. The focus is on regional and international cooperation, interdisciplinarity and artistic exchange.

Citizens, artists and young creatives from Karlsruhe can apply for the international exchange programme until November 15, 2024.

The award is given for innovative projects that combine the digital space of the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE projection mappings with the analogue space in front of the Karlsruhe Palace.

Until July 2, applicants and interested persons can sign up for a digital Q&A session on the project funding program for media art.

The exchange program is aimed at artists from the two UNESCO Cities of Media Arts. The goal is to create a media artwork for public space in joint collaboration during two residencies.
