The group exhibition at the Städtische Galerie Karlsruhe presents experimental works by five international artists who rethink the relationship between man and nature.
We are looking for an image-rich, interactive media artwork to be exhibited in the centre of the presentation area of the City of Karlsruhe as part of art KARLSRUHE 2025.
Opening virtual exhibition – City to City: Human Responsibility

On Thursday December 10th, 2020 at 3:00 PM CET the opening of the virtual exhibition City to City: Human Responsibility will take place as a zoom event and livestream via Facebook.
Monumental light installations, media projections on facades, artistic interventions, and experimental events will transform Karlsruhe during the Seasons of Media Arts into a stage for innovative, cooperative, and networked media art.

Together with 9 international cities of the Media Arts Cluster of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, the cultural office of the city of Karlsruhe had invited to apply with project proposals. Media artists from all over the world responded to the call.
Humanities biggest challenge of the 21st century is nearing: With this years BEYOND FILM FESTIVAL CLIMATE CHANGE we shed the limelight on the current climate crisis and the impending ecological collapse.
The ZKM exhibition CRITICAL ZONES invites us to deal with the cirtical situation of the Earth in various ways and to explore new modes of coexistence between all forms of life.
