Application phase for prospective students for starting their studies in the upcoming winter semester 2025/26 at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG).

Around 30 graduates will present their final projects and make their works accessible to a broad public.

The workshop explores the figure of the “voyeur” and uses visual culture to investigate the power and resistance of the Western perspective on the South Caucasus. The public program begins at 6 p.m. with a discussion with invited artists from Tbilisi (Georgia).

The symposium of the HfG and the ZKM Karlsruhe is dedicated to the redefinition of research and teaching in art, theory and design and responds to current paradigm shifts through the development of interdisciplinary and hybrid formats. Registration possible until November 22.

New date – new insights: this is the motto of the “Hallenbau Open House” 2024

As part of the Hallenbau summer program, the ZKM, together with the HfG, the Städtische Galerie and the Kunsthalle, invites you to a session of live coding afterwork.

Four days of hacking, goulash, lectures, chunk, workshops, lounge, mate and fun on the device.

The art action shows current works by young media artists at the Badisches Staatstheater. Entrance is free.

To mark the end of its 30th anniversary year, the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe will be hosting a symposium to discuss the future of the university and its contribution to society.
