For the sixth time, the Department of Cultural Affairs is awarding funding for media art projects in public spaces. The focus is on regional and international cooperation, interdisciplinarity and artistic exchange.

Citizens, artists and young creatives from Karlsruhe can apply for the international exchange programme until November 15, 2024.

We are looking for pioneering artistic projects that connect the digital space of the projections on the façade of Karlsruhe Palace with the analogue urban space and make it possible to experience it in a new way through creative, interactive or technological approaches.

For the scholarship from March 2025 to January 2026, media artists can apply individually or as a collective until November 1, 2024.
