The Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design invites you to the official opening of this year’s summer semester on April 15 from 6 pm. Not only will new students be welcomed, but also new members of staff and two new appointments for the Art History and Media Philosophy degree programmes.
Dr Nina Zschocke as Professor of Digital Aesthetics and Simon Sheikh as Professor of Theory in the field of Critical Theory and Media Philosophy. As internationally renowned academics, they will not only enrich the university’s teaching programme, but also cultural life in Karlsruhe. These new appointments mark the start of further reinforcements in the area of theory, which will follow in the course of the summer and winter semesters.
The opening of the summer semester is also traditionally the time to present the diploma certificates. The event will be accompanied by performances and musical contributions from SMITTNESS, which will make the evening an unforgettable experience.
