Media Art Is Here
With its cultural institutions, Karlsruhe has always offered a wide range of art and culture across all genres. In 2023, for the first time, the cultural institutions of the city of Karlsruhe will present a joint presentation in their own space in Hall 1. With media art at the center of the room – as the nucleus of the identity of the city of Karlsruhe – the latest productions created in Karlsruhe will be on display. In dialogue with works curated by the ZKM, the works from the UNESCO funding program provide an insight into media art creation in Karlsruhe.

The presentation at art KARLSRUHE are a joint endeavor by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe Marketing und Event GmbH, Karlsruhe Tourismus GmbH, the City of Karlsruhe External Relations and Strategic Marketing Department, Karlsruhe Messe- und Kongress GmbH and the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe.
