The Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) is hosting its annual exhibition, which showcases the diversity and creative spirit of its students. Around 100 student works and performances will be shown in the university’s atriums. Visitors will gain fascinating insights into the various study programmes at the HfG.
In addition to the exhibition, guests can look forward to a special award ceremony organised by the ZKM / HfG e.V. Fördergesellschaft, which promotes young artistic and academic talent. Guided tours will shed light on interdisciplinary collaboration and integration into the Karlsruhe art scene, while the varied accompanying programme will underline the HfG’s international orientation and creative aspirations. The opening evening will be enriched by live music, an AStA bar and a subsequent party, offering numerous opportunities for exchange and networking.
An additional attraction is the exhibition Antennae: Frequencies from the Archive in cooperation with the ZKM, which will be on display until November 2024. The Städtische Galerie Karlsruhe also offers the opportunity to experience the studio exhibition Hydromedia, an EU-funded artistic research project that was created at the HfG in spring 2024.
