On Friday, September 13 studio hö will open at Kaiserstrasse 3. studio hö is a production and exhibition space that is primarily used for the creation and exhibition of media art works and projects.

The urban pulse of Karlsruhe is visible at studio hö. The distinctive architecture of the building with its large arched windows naturally makes creative processes transparent and tangible. It is not only a space to produce art, but to perspectives to be broadened. A showcase for media art that blurs the boundaries between creativity and urban life.

The installation Between Dreams and Reality by Anna-Lina Helsen in collaboration with the artist Desirée Eppele will be shown as the opening work within the framework of the exhibition Media art is here. Between Dreams and Reality shows the hybrid world of man and machine and deals in an abstract way with the interplay between the conscious and the unconscious, questions about the future and dystopias vs. utopias. The artist deals with the following questions, among others, but invites the viewer to work out their own questions: To what extent and to what degree are these combinations of nature and technology desirable? How do we ourselves feel about it? Artificial intelligence, technology, access to information and theories, control, surveillance, capitalism. What does the changing times bring? In which direction are we going? Can the direction be changed?

The opening of studio hö takes place on September 13 at 7 p.m. studio hö is a project of the Hoepfner Foundation in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Department of Cultural Affairs and the UNESCO City of Media Arts Office and is supported by Hoepfner Bräu Immobilien Verwaltung.
