Radical Polytronics – this is the name of this year’s Giga-Hertz-Festival taking place in Karlsruhe from December 6 – 10. In addition to the awarding of the Giga-Hertz Prize, contemporary electronic music and sound art will be brought to life for young and old.

For five days, the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe will be transformed into an experience space that makes the diversity and spectrum within electronic music accessible. Visitors can discover the world of electronic music and sound art through concerts, DJ sets, artist talks and workshops for all age groups. Highlights from the program include Acousmatic Dreamland by and with Ludger Brümmer, a concert with bela and This Machine! and Uncharted Interactions by Yvette Janine Jackson and Yu-Jung Chen.
