The solo exhibition KAE Oktorina. Farbklangschichten brings works by the Indonesian art mediator and media artist KAE to the Kunstraum Neureut. Her interactive light installations invite visitors to combine movement, layers of colour, algorithms and piano sounds. In this exhibition for people of all ages, you can play, make music and experiment!
KAE lives and works in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her works have been shown at the Singapore Art Biennale (2022) and the Distant Gallery in the Netherlands (2022). In 2022 she received the Erlangga Art Awards and was nominated for the Bandung Contemporary Art Awards.
Farbklangschichten is KAE’s first European solo show and invites all visitors to rediscover the relationships to our media environments.
