From March 22 to March 29, cu presents the exhibition Experimentelles Transferrarie-fahren-Verfahren by artist Pauline Gosselin.
The project is an installation with focus on video, in which several films and objects are put in a dialogic connection with each other. The main work consists of video pieces that are projected by two projectors—onto both the front window and a wall in the rear of the space. Complementing these are a series of photographic works.
The video work explores a ritual that has been fragmented and edited together from various wishes. Over the course of the exhibition, different relics and objects from the shot footage will be displayed as standalone exhibition pieces.
In addition to the digital video works, another film will be projected on 18 mm film, incorporating an analog visual language into the installation.
The different videos begin as separate sequences and gradually synchronize, developing a layered visual and conceptual dialogue.
The exhibition Experimentelles Transferrarie-fahren-Verfahren opens on March 22 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and concludes with a closing event on March 29 at the same time. Visits between these dates are possible by appointment via cu.kunst@gmail.com.
