Desiree Kabis and Daniel Lythgoe transport visitors in the Orgelfabrik Durlach into an immersive art experience of light installation and live performance. They create a dystopian future in which the world has been greatly changed by climate change and people long for the natural state of our present.
Through Das Grüne Erinnern (Green Remembering), people of the future are able to glimpse into our present, revealing memories of a forgotten green world. The barren, barren new world of the distant future is juxtaposed with gentle sounds, colourful, engaging projections and gentle poetic language.
Visitors can spend time in the immersive installation before and after the performance and move freely through the projection landscape.
