Algorithms are thoughts. Not just tools for search engines, but also for art. Live coding turns the process of programming into a performance and computer code into a creative form of artistic expression. The local live coding community TOPLAP Karlsruhe _\|/_ invites you to explore and experience open source, open mind and open communication through algorithmic art.
In talks and workshops, both beginners and advanced users will discover the technical possibilities and creative approaches to creating sounds, images and texts with computer code. Collaboration between humans and machines takes centre stage. Experimentation and failure are also part of the programme.
In the evening, a concert with live coding performances featuring abstract sounds, chopped-up poetry and dancefloor hits awaits you.
