ASIA TRIP TALK

20. October 2023

Media art crosses genre boundaries, is static or dynamically immersive, forward-looking or takes a look at our past through new media. In such a vast and heterogeneous field, there is no single way to mediate media art, but many different approaches.

And if one takes a look non-European countries, the multitude of mediation methods only becomes more extensive. Fanny Kranz and Barbara Kiolbassa went on a research trip to Japan, Korea and Indonesia to explore the mediation of media art in these countries, to network and to share a lot of food.

One year later, the two will report on their impressions in the ASIA TRIP TALK at COLA TAXI OKAY on October 20. Together with three guests from Korea and Indonesia, the two art educators invite you to an evening full of travelogue, food sharing and music celebrating.
