After its presentation during the festival Seasons of Media Arts – Connected Future (17.09.-17.10.21), LIMBO travels to UNESCO City of Media Arts Braga, where it will be presented within the framework of OCUPA, a yearly event focused on showcasing Braga’s creators on the digital arts and electronic music field.

The audiovisual installation LIMBO by Sarah Degenhardt and João Carlos Pinto is a unique journey through perceptions of landscape in a digital and abstract space. The fluctuations between micro and macro perspectives relate to human relations, nature, and the planet. Conceived as a large-scale installation, the dimensions of the projections together with explorations of binaural rhythm and specific frequency spectra come together as a physical experience.

LIMBO was supported by the City to City: Human Responsibility initiative of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network Media Arts Cluster and is a project of the UNESCO City of Media Arts cities Karlsruhe and Braga.

Location: Teatro Circo de Braga.
