City of Karlsruhe has submitted application

Karlsruhe wants to become the first German UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts. For this purpose, the city has applied with the recommendation of the German UNESCO Commission for inclusion in the worldwide UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in the category media art. A decision by the UNESCO Directorate-General in Paris is expected by November 2019.
